Psalms 31 & 34

The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him,
And rescues them.

As for me, I trust in You, O LORD,
I say, "You are my God. My times are in Your hand",

Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who hope in the LORD.

From an email to a friend...

Thank you so much for ever-interceding for us - we need it! I am convinced that I am ready for a boring few years after this! We love adventure - but I am ready to settle for a bit, if the Lord allows it.

We are having a blast here. It is definitely more fun to "indoor camp" here than be buckled in the truck for days at a time. We have a hotplate I am preparing soups on for supper. We also have a camp stove and a griddle. We have sandwiches and chips for lunches and cereal and oatmeal for breakfasts. Oh yeah, I brought the little espresso maker too! Complete with North Pole St. Nickernoodle coffee. We are loaded with goodies and snacks, some I picked up and First Assembly provided boxes of yummies from Sam's - Charee and Mary Beth went shopping for food and kids activity books. We have school books, handwriting and reading and Shakespeare and history and computer games, gameboys, my iphone, a portable dvd player, etc. The Royal Rangers sent our boys off with special recognition and prayer and travel games. Gabriella is addicted to Old Maid. She loves it and is begging to play it again tonight.

I taught the children how to sing Row, Row, Row the Boat in rounds today. (I had 3 cups of coffee!) So we are well. Wish we were trekking home though.

Love you so much, Jeannie
