Summer Solstice (Redone)

I am redoing this post because actually June 21 is June Solstice (Summer solstice). Some of the celebrations were on Saturday, June 20, 2009.

To celebrate this longest day of the year, there are festivals, side walk sales, midnight sales, all-night baseball games (the Midnight Sons), a Midnight Sun Fun Run (5K?), etc. I am not sure what we will decide to do. I will post later with pictures. At least I will try to take some pictures at midnight so you can see how bright the sun is.

Addendum: It rained so we didn't stay to see the Fun Run. Maybe next year.
