I am putting out a request for princess and knight donations. We are working on a special long-term project and I need to be able to dress my children in appropriate Royal attire. This includes dresses, tunics, swords, shields, shoes, crowns and so on. Let me know if you have any excess items in your Royal wardrobe! J
Psalms 31 & 34
And rescues them.
As for me, I trust in You, O LORD,
I say, "You are my God. My times are in Your hand",
Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who hope in the LORD.

A Quick Update
Yes, we are still around! Life has a way of taking over January and February each year. We are still at my parents’ in NC. We are so grateful for Mom and Dad’s graciousness to host us while we are settling back in to the South. I just wanted to send out a quick update.
Chris has work – lots of work! He is in New York for the 2nd week on one particular job. Then he will mostly be working out of the home with intermittent travel. God has granted me the desire of my heart.
I am currently wearing a Holter heart monitor for near syncope and orthostatic hypotension. This is a fancy way of saying I frequently feel like I am going to pass out. Last week the doctor measure a significant drop in my blood pressure when I stood. Even after over-hydrating, I continue to have the dizziness and near syncope. So the EKG looked good, blood work looked good. And this annoying little monitor was the next step. I get it off tomorrow and go to the cardiologist for follow up next Tuesday.
We are in the middle of intense birthday months. David, Chris, John-James, Brennan and Elysiana are all celebrating. Brennan is almost 13 (Boo-Hoo), could be 6’ 5” when he finishes growing and is being checked for asthma. David has gone to bug heaven (my mother’s garden). Gabriella and John-James both have decided to ditch their shoes and run barefoot. Literally. I can’t hardly get shoes on their feet anymore! Elysiana is planning her 4th birthday party – cupcakes at the park. Isabella is talking in paragraphs and has been upgraded to the booster seat at the dining table. And Havah has sprouted another tooth and now occupies the high chair.
We are very excited about where God is taking our family this year. I am looking into expanding my blog into potential ministry avenues. The children are brimming with business ideas. Stay tuned… well, give me a few months… J

To be honest...
I have faced intense emotions of coming home after almost 2 years of separation coupled with a strong feeling of displacement. I imagine it to be similar to what missionaries face when they have lived in two worlds and are a part of each, but not wholly belonging to either. Almost too much emotion to be contained within my person!
To be honest with you, I have been so overwhelmed with responsibility that I haven't had time to write. Just maintaining the family is enough. Now we are acclimating to a new life, new place, new everything! Part of me is just coming out of shock. We have set up house in my parent's upstairs. They turned a loft, large bedroom and bath over to us! We use the attic for an additional walk-in closet. Both sets of grandparents have welcomed us so graciously!!!
January brings us to a new beginning - again! Chris is still looking for work. We have started the homeschool back up. I am still fighting stomach ulcers. I have been asked to sing/play at a couple of churches. Brennan is almost as tall as me. David is 9 and wearing 16 slims. Gabriella is learning to crochet from Sarah. John-James is still King Tigger. Elysiana has found a new best friend in Aunt Carole. Isabella is a confirmed mimic. Havah is stealing everyone's heart. Big Bertha is still the most beautiful truck this side and that side of the Mississippi.
We want to spend time with each of our friends. I know it will take time to see everybody. Please forbear with us. We do plan to visit Greenville First and maybe eat lunch with our dear friends there. And I want some homecooked meals from some of you, too!
Love and blessings...
