One day, John-James came downstairs and matter-of-factly said, "God spoke to me."

 

I waited in curiousity. John-James said, "God told me to be a better brother and show honor and be nice and share things. God told me I need to obey my parents." He was so calm and sincere.

 

Yesterday, when we had family devotions, John-James took his turn praying and then said, "Let's all be quiet and listen to the Lord." Thirty seconds later he lifted up his head and asked each one of us, "What did God tell you?"

 

Havah is "commando" crawling EVERYWHERE! Isabella is potty-training. She told me, "I have a poopsie-whoopsie." Gabriella is beating the boys at Geography. Brennan has taken over lawn-mowing (with the push mower). David killed 27 black widows and says there are 5 more. Elysiana loves playing with her "sister-friends" and her "brother-friends".

David slept in his closet last night. The girls couldn't resist and wanted to join him. We are looking for beds and linens for the children. Soon I will be posting room makeovers - one by one!
