Yes, I know it has been awhile since I posted! We celebrated
Elysiana's birthday today. Decorated the chandelier with 14 pink
balloons and crepe streamers. Had pizza for lunch. (It is tradition
for the birthday person to choose what we eat.) We went to the park
with a basket of cupcakes- at her request. Sang and heard "Happy Birthday" about a
hundred times today. Came back to the house for presents and supper. As I was kissing her
goodnight, Elysiana requested politely, "Can I have another birthday
tomorrow?"
I am still working on potential ministry opportunities... Will post
more later. Love all of you and appreciate ALL the love and
friendship!!
P.S. My cousins in Atlanta are giving us their family room furniture!!
Isn't that awesome?!?! Another cousin wants to return the antique
piano I had to kiss goodbye when we moved to Alaska. The one my Great-Grandfather bought for his little girls (including my dear Gramma Brown). God is restoring to us even as we sleep. (Psalm 127:2 For He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.)
We don't worry about moving into another home
and starting over - again. In fact we rarely even speak of it. It doesn't even register on our radar to fret over this. God has always supplied. "I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can endure all this through him who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:11-13)
