Psalms 31 & 34
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him,
And rescues them.
As for me, I trust in You, O LORD,
I say, "You are my God. My times are in Your hand",
Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who hope in the LORD.
We have been visiting around to different churches in the area. It is a rare opportunity to get to see how God's hand is moving all around our area. And to get to know the body of believers in our area from all different churches. We have thoroughly enjoyed our summer "tour" so far.
It is in the upper 60s and 70s now. A little cooler in the early morning. Of course the sun does not really set right now. it dips down below the tree line and a little bit later, pops back up again. We are losing around seven minutes a day of light. Last Monday was the longest day of the year. 24 hours of bright sunshine! Summer Solstice!
A moose ran in front of me this week on my way home. I was driving slow and it was exciting. I tried to video it, but it ran off. Last night a cow moose and her brand-new baby came thru our yard. This morning when I opened the curtains, a hare was standing up in my yard almost looking at me! It is fun to live out here. It helps to take the edge off homesickness. Jeannie
