Psalms 31 & 34

The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him,
And rescues them.

As for me, I trust in You, O LORD,
I say, "You are my God. My times are in Your hand",

Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who hope in the LORD.

Welcome!

Too much news to share all in one humongous post...so I will share bits and pieces as I get a chance. Currently, the Revells family is taking a sabbatical and enjoying God's creation together. We finished our year at Jubilee Worship Center and are seeking the Lord's direction for future ministry.

In the meantime, Chris is continuing his engineering work which has always been our bread and butter. God has opened opportunities for marketplace ministry and pursuing his PE (Professional Engineering license)Jeannie and the children are continuing to homeschool year-round. The children are growing like the beautiful wheat in our backyard! We are all getting ready for baby #7. She is another girl and we expect her to come early to mid-August. Isabella was diagnosed with a heart murmur last week. We are waiting to hear the results from her echocardiogram. Brennan's wearing his Dad's shoes and hovering somewhere between my nose and eyebrows. David and Gabriella are flying thru math and reading. I suspect they are doing lessons without me, they are progressing so quickly. John-James is determined to read, and he has about mastered his first book, "Go, Dog, Go!" Elysiana keeps us laughing. She is so affectionate and spontaneous. Is that everybody? I am getting huge and waddling around. Please don't laugh. Chris is gorgeous and wonderful as ever. That about covers everybody in a nutshell.

More details to follow, I promise. For those of you who are hounding me!!! :) I am not lost in a dark non-wifi cave. I am just excessively busy managing my home and pursuing my LORD. More details on that forth-coming as well.

I have decided this blog will be more intimate and detailed so I am not making it public. I do not mind if you would like to share an article I write with someone. Several of you have asked to forward some posts and I consider it an honor that my life can impact someone else's, especially if they have not discovered the joy of walking hand in hand with my Jesus.

If you are reading this LONG intro, it is because you are special to our family and we want to stay connected to you. Please comment freely as we love, love, love hearing from you. I will try to post some notes from the children as well.

Be prepared - for the fury of updates is coming...before Christmas, I promise! :-)  LOL!

Hi Jeannie.

Thanks for including us in your new blog contacts. This is going to be a great blog, I can tell. I wish I could be as good at it as you.

So are you thinking you will be leaving Alaska now? Are you finished working at the church there? WOW! this year went by fast.

Anxious to hear what plans God has for you...good I know! Jer 29:11

Love you!! Joyce

Wow, sounds like your life is going very well,( with the exception of the heart murmur thing-I imagine that's a bit scary.)I can't believe Brennan is so tall!! Wow! I bet all the kids are so big now. I can tell they are sprouting from the pics and videos. Sorry I don't keep up much. I am such a facebook-a-holic that I forget about blogs and e-mailing. Oops. Anyway, glad to hear about you all.

Hi to everyone from the McLaughlins. It is good to hear from you. We will be praying for Isabella and for God's continued guidance in your life. You should check out the blog I started for a women's study we are doing on Wednesday night. If you ever have the opportunity or desire to teach from the book we are studying you are welcome to use the blog for those who want to follow along.

Here is the website just in case you want to follow along with our study. I know you probably won't be able to make it on Wednesday night, but if you are ever free just drop in. :)

Got to go for now. We are looking forward to staying in touch.

Love to all, Melinda, Andy, Meghan, Davin, Isabel, and Joel.
