Can't believe our baby is one! We measure our Alaskan experience by her birth. She was one week when the possibility of Alaska came up. She was 2 months old when we first came to visit. Isabella was only 4 1/2 months old when we moved here.
So my darling, I am sorry we are all sick with the stomach flu. But when we feel better in a few days, we will have cupcakes and ice-cream!
And when we move into our newly remodeled home, I will throw you a special party!

Your Alaskan journey is SO awesome! God is an AWESOME God! It is so exciting to see how God is meeting every need you have and it is so much fun following the journey God has you on. I just can’t wait to see what happens next. I check the journal updates regularly because I just can’t wait. Keep them coming!
When I saw Bella’s birthday pictures, I was a little sad though. As a grandmother myself, I know it must be really hard for the grandparents to not be able to physically be there to celebrate the event.
Tell Bella, “Happy Birthday”. Sure miss you all, but I’m just so excited for you! You’re on a fantastic journey!

So hard to believe it has been a year already. I have so many special memories of your births. I was telling a new dad this morning about arriving at your home and hearing the boys running to get you, calling out, "the midwives are here, the midwives are here"
