Psalms 31 & 34

The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him,
And rescues them.

As for me, I trust in You, O LORD,
I say, "You are my God. My times are in Your hand",

Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who hope in the LORD.

Prologue

Friday we walked away from our home of seven years and took our first steps into the future. We are weary, but hopefully expectant! God prepares each step as we move forward. He provided someone to ship my heirloom china, someone to send our 15 boxes of clothing, which would have cost us $200 shipping apiece, and He provided money for us to send our 25 boxes of books and other media as well as Chris's Alaskan hunting gear, of course! Everything else we gave away. A few things we sold, but mostly we were able to bless a lot of families! How fun!

Today Chris pulled up pictures of my home as I had it decorated. I teared up as I remember how lovely it looked and all the special memories there. Four children were born there. We were trained for ministry and then launched out from that haven.

To whom much is given, much is required. We are literally starting over. How exciting it will be to see God provide. His hand is generously open and He loves to give to His beloved. We will see His faithfulness as I document our lives from this blog. I am confident in this!

We have laid hold of the gift of faith, and we are trusting with all our might. Many adventures lay ahead of us. We are running toward our destiny to lay hold of that which God has prepared for us!
